Eigentlich kann ich Künstler nicht leiden. Aber es gibt Ausnahmen. Die Leute von “Walk Through” machen ein interessantes Projekt auf, mit und über den Steindamm in St. Georg. Wenn man die Straße entlang läuft, trifft man streng gläubige Muslime, weniger streng gläubige Muslime, Drogenszene, Prostituierte samt Kundschaft, alles dabei. Idee ist, all diese Menschen in das Projekt mit einzubinden.

Der Versuch, ein künstlerisches Projekt auf eine Straße zu legen, ist begründet in der Vielfalt, der Divergenz, der Kontraste, den Nachbarschaften von Banalem und Tragischem, Bizarrem und Glanzlosem, dem Leben und Sterben einer Stadt auf engstem Raum.

Aus der Projektbeschreibung.

Boran Burchhardt arbeitet zum Beispiel mit den Leuten aus der Centrum-Moschee zusammen. Morgen ist Eröffnung und wer mag, kommt gerne vorbei.
